The six members of U.S. rock band Linkin Park made their Chinese debut on Sunday afternoon at a news conference before their concert tonight in Shanghai.
The band arrived in Shanghai about 6 p.m. on Saturday. The went directly to their hotel for safety reasons without meeting any fans or media, the website Sina.com reported.
The band's 20 tons of equipment for the concert had arrived earlier.
The band members expressed their expectations for the show and vowed to present an extraordinary rock feast.
Linkin Park is the first top-class rock band to perform in China.
