Golden Horse takes new nominees after film withdrawal,

Taiwan's Golden Horse awards have announced a new nominee list after two Chinese pics pulled out of contention.

Wang Quanan's "Tuya's Marriage," which won a Golden Bear at this year's Berlinale, and Li Yang's "Blind Mountain" have withdrawn from the annual Taiwanese kudosfest, reportedly under pressure from China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT.)

Zhang Yang's "Getting Home" has taken "Tuya's" spot for best pic, while Derek Yee and Jiang Wen replaced Li and Wang in the best director category. Rene Liu, meanwhile, replaces "Tuya's" Yu Nan in the best actress competish.

Prizes will be awarded on Dec 8 at a ceremony in the Taipei Arena. Event will be produced and telecast live in Taiwan by STAR Chinese Movies.
